Why “post no bills”?

Because my name’s Bill, I hate advertisements, and it reminds me of NYC.

Update, 33 days later

Three surprising variations: the first is on a white wall, which Local Law 47 only recently allowed; the second is both a one-line horizontal stencil and placed diagonally; and the third is red and was painted so heavily it dripped.

A few more over this past weekend.
