Temporary structures stay honest only while they still look headed somewhere. A hoarding up for a week reads as work in progress. The same boards up for three years, unchanged, flip from alive to abandoned — same plywood, opposite feeling.
Movement is the signal
The difference isn't polish, it's momentum: fresh notices, a recent permit, new damage over old. A wall that changes is a wall someone is still using.
Nothing here is finished. That is the whole point of showing it this early.
This bill is filler, and it says so plainly — but the wall it's pasted to is real, and the reason to put a demo online at all is to keep it moving instead of letting it calcify around one draft.
